 Terrorist Attack Claims Lives in Dera Ismail Khan

Five civilians and two soldiers tragically lost their lives in a terrorist attack on a health center in Dera Ismail Khan District, as confirmed by Pakistan's military media wing on Tuesday.

The Inter Services Public Relations Pakistan (ISPR) reported that on the night of July 15/16, terrorists conducted a cowardly assault on Rural Health Center, Kirri Shamozai in Dera Ismail Khan District. The attackers opened indiscriminate fire on the health center's staff. As a result, five innocent civilians were martyred, including two lady health workers, two children, and one watchman.

Military Response

Security forces swiftly engaged the terrorists, leading to the elimination of three attackers during the intense exchange of fire. Tragically, during this operation, Naib Subedar Muhammad Farooq (44 years old) and Sepoy Muhammad Javed Iqbal (23 years old) made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.
